Our Commitment

Balanced Educators is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Alt text on all meaningful images
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for text)
  • Keyboard navigation support throughout the site
  • ARIA labels on interactive elements
  • Responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes
  • Skip navigation links for screen reader users
  • Form labels and error messages associated with inputs
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some third-party content (such as our donation form provided by Zeffy) may not fully meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. We are working with our partners to improve accessibility across all integrated services.
