Our Mission
Mission Statement
To support the mental health and well-being of teachers, administrators, and education support staff by eliminating barriers to professional therapy services, fostering a healthier and more sustainable education workforce, and ensuring accessible mental health care for those who dedicate their lives to educating others.
Our Vision
Balanced Educators envisions a future where all educators possess the self-awareness and self-regulation skills necessary to thrive personally and professionally. We see an education workforce that maintains emotional wellbeing, sustains work-life balance, and has the mental health support needed to show up authentically for themselves, their families, and the students they serve.
Through accessible mental health support, we aspire to transform the teaching profession from one characterized by burnout and attrition to one defined by sustainability, fulfillment, and longevity.

Theory of Change
Educator burnout is a systemic crisis. Over half of U.S. teachers report burnout, and 62% experience frequent job-related stress. Yet most educators lack access to mental health support tailored to their unique challenges — cost, stigma, time, and lack of educator-specialized therapists all create barriers.
Balanced Educators addresses this by providing free, professional counseling delivered by therapists who understand the education environment. By removing every barrier — financial, logistical, and cultural — we enable educators to get the help they need, when they need it.
When educators are supported, they stay in the profession longer, perform better in the classroom, and create healthier learning environments for students. Our model creates a virtuous cycle: healthier educators lead to better outcomes for everyone.
